A new division of Volante Transaction Services based in the US to offer transaction liability insurance services to the North American market.
Volante Global, a multi-class, multi-territory international Managing General Agent & Lloyd’s Syndicate that combines best-in-class underwriting powered by data-driven business processes deployed through a strategic platform, has announced that Volante Transaction Services (VTS), a division of Volante Global, will enter the North American transaction liability insurance market.
VTS, which is led by its Global Head, Martin Larkman, has further strengthened its international transaction liability footprint with the announcement of a highly experienced US based team.
This announcement follows successful entries by VTS to the Asia & Pacific transaction liability market through VTS – APAC and to the UK & Europe market through VTS – UK & EU. VTS now offers its market partners a team of 14 transaction liability professionals providing specialist insurance services across 4 continents through 10 locations.
The VTS – North America team is based in New York City and is led by Chris Opisso, Jon Sprintz, and Jason Tomitz. Prior to joining VTS, Chris, Jon and Jason’s most recent roles were as Managing Directors at BlueChip Underwriting Services, where they collectively underwrote over 500 policies across multiple market segments.

The insurance capacity for VTS North America is provided by Volante Lloyd’s Syndicate 1699 and Transverse Insurance Company (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Group).
