Actuarial foundation to rating: Working closely with our Chief Actuarial Officer and team, we can develop bespoke ‘non-conventional’ motor insurance programmes for large international clients. Examples include risks written with an ‘each and every claim’ excess as well as an aggregate excess.

Technical underwriting: Our underwriting lead has over twenty-five years of motor insurance experience in the international arena, including implementing solutions for database data population and claims handling.

Jurisdiction-specific requirements: We have specialist knowledge of writing motor insurance in many countries with vastly different motor-related legal requirements.

Scale: We underwrite a limited number of large international motor risks per year, ensuring we have the resources to concentrate on providing top-rate service to our brokers, coverholders and their clients.

Underwriting is conducted at Volante International Motor in London with country-specific insurance documentation issued by the local broker (or in certain circumstances the client) where required. Similarly, arrangements are made to populate local motor insurance databases appropriately.
