Pearson joins Volante Executive Committee and named MD of Financial and Professional Lines

Volante Global Limited (Volante) has announced that Andrew Pearson has joined the firm’s Executive Committee and has also been appointed Managing Director of Volante Financial and Professional Lines, with immediate effect.

With over 30 years of experience in the financial and professional lines sector across both underwriting and broking, Pearson brings considerable market experience to the Executive Committee. A highly successful manager in the Lloyd’s market and on the international stage, his industry knowledge spans financial institutions, directors’ and officers’, cyber, professional indemnity and transactional liability.

The Financial and Professional Lines business launched in November 2018, with the appointment of appointment of David Mercer as Managing Director of professional indemnity. Pearson’s appointment expands the firm’s insurance scope to include financial institutions and directors’ and officers’ products, with additional lines including transactional liability and cyber to be introduced in the early part of 2019.
