Hazardous Goods

Brand Logo

Few activities are as highly regulated as the transport of goods classified as potentially hazardous. This category covers a huge range of substances, including: explosives; flammable liquids and solids; toxic or corrosive substances; and radioactive materials.

Transporting of hazardous materials exposes those involved in the process, as well as the general public and the environment, to multiple risks, such as fires, explosions and poisoning. As a result, stringent checks are applied to all vehicles involved in the transport of such goods, placing significant pressures on fleet managers to ensure compliance.

At Edison Motor, our extensive expertise in this high-risk sector means that we are able to provide full-spectrum coverage for all types of Hazardous Goods fleets. These include: Fuel & Oil Companies; Chemical Companies; Lubricant Companies; LPG Companies; Tank Wash; Waste Oil and other ‘Wet’ waste; Tank Installation; Industrial Cleaning; Hazardous Goods Hauliers and Tanker Hauliers.
