London, 15 May 2019 – Volante Global Limited has announced the appointment of Graeme King as Managing Director for cyber, a division of Volante Financial & Professional Lines.
King’s appointment heralds Volante’s move into the cyber insurance sector, with the firm set to launch a cyber facility in the near future that will make full use of the company’s technological capabilities.
With over 30 years’ experience as an IT consultant, a technology and intellectual property lawyer and a cyber & tech E&O underwriter, King is at the forefront of the evolution of cyber risk mitigation solutions as a driver of cyber insurance.
Most recently, King was Business Group Leader for Cyber and Tech at Barbican Insurance. From 2012 – 2014, he led a regional team of technology and cyber underwriters at Allianz, focussing on large global primary business. Prior to that, he specialised in underwriting Tech E&O risks for Hiscox in London, India and Australia.
King will be based in London.
